Sean Ikola
FIRST ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONALMy name is Sean Ikola. I have been in the golf industry for 6 years now and teaching for the last 5 years. I decided to get into the golf industry after I had to have open heart surgery to save my life at the age of 27. I realized that life is short, and I wanted to do something for a living that I was very passionate about. I started in the golf industry at Eaglecrest Golf Course in Escondido as an outside cart barn attendant. Then while I was attending the Golf Academy of America I started working as a Golf Professional at El Camino Country Club in Oceanside. I then graduated from the Golf Academy of America and was hired at Indian Wells Golf Resort as a Golf Professional, where I taught golf lessons, and clinics, and junior camps. Then my wife and I wanted to start our family, so we decided to move back to Orange County where we are both from, and I was hired as the First Assistant Golf Professional at Willowick Golf Course, where I have been teaching for the past year. I am also a PGA Apprentice striving to get my PGA of America membership in the coming years. I love teaching this great game of golf, and enjoy building ongoing relationships with all of my students!
